Andy's battle with Lukemia We lost our little boy Andy to some complications during a stem cell transplant in San Antonio. He became very sick with bacteria in his blood, and later had weak kidneys and liver. His greatest problem was that his heart started making fluid and completely took over his lungs. We lost him on June 30, 2002. He has been an inspiration to us for 6 years and we thank God for letting us know and love him for that length of time. We know without a doubt that he is in heaven with Jesus and Jesus is holding him in his arms and making him happy in every way. Andy hadn't reached the age where he had to make a decision about heaven or hell and we know that the Bible teaches that little children are safe when they loose their lives. On the other hand, we as adults have to make a decision as to where we will spend eternity. My immediate family had already ask God to save our souls before this loss and it is very comforting to know that we will be with Andy soon. What about you? Have you asked God to save you through his son Jesus Christ or are you depending on other things to get you to heaven. I'm sure Andy would like to see you in heaven some day. Please think about this and don't just shrug it off.

Friday, July 05, 2002 at 10:52 PM (CDT) Marcy and I believe that Andy's life and death was a divine plan of Gods and only he knows exactly what that plan consists of. If you don't have God in your life, you need to read these scriptures below from the Bible and find room for God and his love in your life. May God Bless you all, and thanks for letting us share our wonderful son and his life and death with you.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
