We believe we have come to a good point to end this part of our challenge. I have written three different endings for this site from the philosophical to the introspective. What they all had in common was what a great help this site has been for us.
Joanne’ and I cannot state how important the support we have received from all of you via this site was to us. We would not have recovered as quickly without it. Both of us are truly indebted to you all and we thank you. Please feel free to contact us at Harmsen4@aol.com anytime you wish!
I think it is only fitting to end this with a statement from the people who started this site on our behalf. Betty and Larry Harmsen. I would just like to end by saying please do not take anything for granted. Life can change quickly.
Life is an adventure so enjoy it,

The time is at hand when this web page will end. It is with mixed feelings that we close this chapter in our lives. It has been a source of inspiration, courage and support for all of us, and it has kept us close to
what has truly become an extended family.
Jon and Joanne are on the mend. They still have a ways to go with some heavy duty challenges ahead of them but they will prevail. They both have demonstrated a capacity to maintain positive biases and focus on what needs to be done and what works. This is testimony not only to their own effort and inner strength, but also speaks to the tremendous amount of support and encouragement from others. I believe in the connectedness of all things. If you have followed this saga at all, wished them well, sent positive thoughts or prayers, helped out materially or contributed in any other way, you were an important part of
the healing and recovery process. I thank you for that and truly love you for being there when we needed you.
