I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- Phillipians 4:13

Ross was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia on 10/4/00. After a month of chemotherapy, he achieved remission on 11/1/00, just one day before his 10th birthday. On April 22, 2002, we learned that Ross had relapsed in his Central Nervous System. He underwent an intense course of chemo and radiation for the next two years. Thankfully, Ross went off treatment in May of 2004!

Thank you for stopping by and checking on Ross's progress. Drop us a note in the guestbook - Ross loves reading his messages! Please continue to keep our family in your prayers.

Dear friends,

I haven't updated since the summer, but no news is good, but busy news! October 4th was Ross's 8th anniversary from his original diagnosis. None of us thought about it until the next day. That is something I couldn't have even imagined back then......cancer ruled our every thought. We were on the way to church on the 5th and Ross was the one to remember it. Thank the good Lord, it is not something that stays on our mind too much these days.

As I said, we've been busy! This is Ross's senior year - he's been accepted to Auburn University for next fall and is pretty excited about that. Incredibly hard for us to believe - he'll be 18 on November 2. He'll even get to vote in the upcoming election!

Laura is in the 10th grade and getting car crazy. Although she won't be 16 until May, she's already looking and wishing for that car.

Kennon and I have both been busy at work and keeping up with the kids... a never ending, not so small feat. Between football, volleyball and cheerleading, we stay in the road more than not. We wouldn't have it any other way, though!

Ross will go back for a checkup in December and I'll update again after that. Please keep my father in your prayers. He's 81 and has just been diagnosed with late stage colon cancer. He had surgery yesterday, but we know we have a long road ahead. He's tough and wants to fight, so I know his attitude will carry him far.

Love,
Kennon, Lisa, Ross and Laura
